Sun, wind or rain

Today I finished a reading task that was called sun, wind or rain. We had to read a book on patterns  that early new zealand settlers could use to predict weather conditions accurately. Then I had to write down what it was called, the pattern, and the explanation. I think that some of the patterns were amazing, including blue cod stones ( blue cod would swallow small pebbles before bad weather) and the white island plume (it would lie flat when there would be windy weather). Me and my family usually watch the weather to see what we will need to wear, and they are pretty accurate but sometimes they are wrong. I find watching the weather ok, but sometimes it's annoying. I also had to do similarities between two different types of clouds. I chose cumulus and stratocumulus. Please leave a comment on my work Thanks!

  1. Hi Hunter,
Thanks for sharing an overview of the main ideas in this article. I agree with your comment that the blue cod stones was amazing. Interesting that both of the clouds you chose had so many similarities, could you identify any specific differences?
    Thanks
    Storm :)
